“The Brave Ones” is an attempt to celebrate the local heroes and heroines that have continuously taken brave steps in their respective fields. These individuals may not be the most recognised and acknowledged, but the impact and weight of their ideas are the centre of our attention.

By creating an environment that allows them to offer us insight into their history, activities, and future aspirations through their ideas – we hope to further inspire and empower other individuals to seek their highest potential – regardless of the internal and external challenges that one continuously faces.

TEDx, x = independently organized event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
